I’m so glad our paths crossed

How do I book a session with you?

To book, simply fill out the contact form and tell me a bit about your story. I’ll reach out within a few days to connect, confirm details, and guide you through the next steps. A signed contract and retainer will officially hold your date.

What should we wear for the session?

Once we book, and if you request it, I’ll send over a simple styling guide with tips to help you feel like your most comfortable, beautiful self. I lean into natural tones and textures that photograph poetically and timelessly, but you can wear anything you feel comfortable in.

What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?

You're not alone — most of my clients say this at first. But I’ll gently guide you through the session so it feels natural, unforced, and deeply honest. We’ll focus on connection, not performance.

When will we get our photos?

Turnaround time varies according to the package you choose, but typically is between 4-6 weeks. I take time to thoughtfully edit each image to reflect the feeling and tone of the moment.

Can we bring our kids / pets / chaos?

Absolutely. Life is messy and beautiful — I welcome all of it. My sessions are child- and chaos-friendly, and I work with what’s real. That’s where the magic lives.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather turns truly wild and pose a risk to us (Alaskan weather is known to be unpredictable), rescheduling is an option. However, some exceptions may apply depending on your package and contract. In any case, I embrace the mood of overcast skies, wind, rain, and even snow — they add a poetic layer to the imagery.

Do you use props or bring anything to the session?

While I like to keep things minimal and intentional and focus on light, movement, and connection, I am all for meaningful things or props that you’d like to include (a blanket, a letter, a family heirloom).

What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?

That’s perfectly okay. I don't expect perfection — I expect real life. We’ll play, move, pause, and follow their lead. Some of the most meaningful moments happen when we let go of control. Also, with your permission established ahead, I always try to use treats and motivators.
